"Death's Moth" (Acherontia Atropos) Hair Pin

This handmade leather hair slide is inspired by the Death's Head Hawk Moth (Acherontia atropos), famous for the skull-like marking on its back and its deep connection to folklore, transformation, and the cycle of life.

Designed for those who love a natural, dark aesthetic. Made from genuine cowhide leather, hand-dyed and hand-painted, this piece captures the unmistakable silhouette and markings of the Death's-head Hawkmoth. Created to be secured with a wooden bobby pin, it pairs perfectly with buns, braids, and half-up hairstyles.

This hairpin is lightweight and comfortable, made to be worn both in everyday alternative fashion, cottagecore looks with a darker edge and in LARP, fantasy, or gothic-inspired looks.
